"Volker Hermes’ main interest lies in the surfaces, dynamics and composition of classical motives of paintings. Hermes analyses works of exemplary status in art history by drawing them on large canvas screens with Edding and other permanent markers. An example of this is the delicate and elaborate depiction of a horse based on the painting by Henri Regnault. Here he took the motive of the horse out of its visual context and focused on the dynamic movement of the horse’s body, and the spectacular luxuriance of the animal’s mane."

"we (kheira & philipp) are represented by the same stockholm gallery, that's where we met and became friends.
 we had been talking about doing a project together for quite some time, when holger asked me about ideas for 
 the next stresemann editorial, I saw it as a perfect possibility.
  so we developed idea and concept for a series of images consisting of photographs and illustration. 
 the idea was to find a visual language and bring together the various influences of 'Versatile'. 
 we wanted to create images that were beautyful and uncanny at the same time, contrasts, which blend together     nevertheless. the cooperation has been inspiring and extremly fun, and we are already planning the next project together."

we are back from berlin fashion week.

exciting days are behind us...

thursday there was a small detour to the premium and for evening we had the dawid tomaszewski show on schedule

including celebrities.

friday morning directly to the capsule where we have spent a few hours with desingers  or their represantatives from u.s.,uk

and scandinavia.finally we have attended a fashion school for supporting with some updos...

 with this titel he presented a material mix of leather, cashmere and feathers.

 the models had braided hair from the neck up to the front

 

 there it ended up in a chignon...

 

 tomaszewski took his inspiration for apocalypse in different areas but the work of the artist john martin should have  influenced him a lot    

deconstructionism plays a major role in the conception of the collection.

the fashion classes 2-3 showed their collection called true blue.

three of the models got the hair done by stresemann all with a chignon, some with dry texture but also a few with shiny hair and

centre parting...
