"versatility" has many influences...

the glamour of paris in the 70s or the looks of new york´s independent art scene in the early 80s

we were also inspired by the fashion of the 30s to create a strong, confident look.

but "versatile" is much more than just a combination of many styles.

"we (kheira & philipp) are represented by the same stockholm gallery, that's where we met and became friends.

we had been talking about doing a project together for quite some time, when holger asked me about ideas for

the next stresemann editorial, I saw it as a perfect possibility.

so we developed idea and concept for a series of images consisting of photographs and illustration.

the idea was to find a visual language and bring together the various influences of 'Versatile'.

we wanted to create images that were beautyful and uncanny at the same time, contrasts, which blend together nevertheless. the cooperation has been inspiring and extremly fun, and we are already planning the next project together."
